ThinkPlay Preschool

If your home has engineers who still take naps, Thinkplay has a unique construction kit just for them. Winner of the prestigious 2018 Tillywig Award, ThinkPlay Preschool has taken the popular European construction series, ThinkPlay, and has simplified it for younger ages.

Suitable for children as young as 30 months, ThinkPlay Preschool has brightly colored cubes and prisms with studs on up to three sides, which allows for the building of multi-directional models. Best of all is the easy-to-follow spiralbound full-color-illustrated instruction manual. It is filled with diverse and progressively more challenging models that your preschooler can make.

The multi-directional design of the ThinkPlay Preschool bricks and the set's inclusion of wheels and axles allow kids to follow the instructions and create real-world objects like flowers, cars, trains, robots, wild animals, complex geometric shapes, and much more.

And, of course, ThinkPlay Preschool is compatible with all Thinkplay kits and with Duplo® blocks.

ThinkPlay Preschool comes packaged in a plastic tub for easy cleanup and storage and includes an exclusive instruction manual. If you are looking for a fun, structured way to connect to your preschooler, ThinkPlay Preschool is it.

fun building

We love doing these activities with our littles. The directions are easy to use. We like to get the pieces beforehand to help our 3 year old to build, otherwise he gets too overwhelmed by all the pieces. Our 5 year old is able to get all the pieces himself to build and follow the directions.

Durable and versatile bricks

These bricks initially seemed harder to use than duplos for my 3yo, but with use they became a favorite. Now they are made into elaborate targets or bowling pins, creatures to crash into each other, etc. Highly durable product, both for learning and fun!

Great toy!

ThinkPlay Preschool blocks have been a hit! My kids love making things, and the booklet is a fun added bonus. Well made, and a tub to keep them in. Great, brain building toy!

Super fun

This is great fun for the kids. The blocks are a good size for the younger ones and not too hard to use. They can build a lot of the models alone and have fun for house. Great for playing with friends and helpful for learning too.

A little hit or miss

When we first got these, my son got very frustrated. It was very hard to put the pieces together with his limited hand strength. However, this had turned out to be a blessing because he can build much bigger without everything toppling like they do with his duplos. We’re still working on using the booklet and getting him to understand how to follow a schematic to build a given model, but we’re getting there. Once we do, we’ll move on to the next set of blocks.
