What a great combination for learning science, technology, engineering, and math concepts! Recommended for ages 6 years and up, but we feel some 5-year-olds may be ready for this challenge.

Read the ReviewA good introduction to robotics - especially if you intend to move on to the more advanced Robotis sets. This set teaches littles how the sets are put together and introduces basic robotics construction ideas. My girls have done these builds over and over and were well prepared for more advanced Robotis sets as a result of having built this set repeatedly.
I saved this kit for my daughter's birthday and it has to be one of her top favorite things to do! She needs a bit of help, but it's definitely a great introduction to robotics for kids. I removed a star because only three or four of the builds are in the instruction booklet. If you want to do the rest, you have to download an app.
My 7 y.o son loves his kit! He made the dog first with me assisting as needed, realizes he had messed up because it wouldn't start, then was so proud when it did work. A week later he did the grasshopper and bird all on his own and was able to brainstorm and correct his mistakes all on his own! What a boost for his confidence and problem solving! And he has given all his pets a name 😂
Fun STEM build.
Our kiddo loves this but the pieces were hard to pull apart. She did need help with this. Our five year old likes doing this too and the instructions are easy to read. It's hard for him to pull the pieces apart as well.
