Kloak

Kloak game with the box to the right. The box cover is white with each letter of the title a different color. There is a cut-out above the O in Kloak in the shape of the game cover piece with an illustrated hand grabbing the cover piece. The game, on the left, is a wooden square board with rounded corners and a grid of 5 by 5 circles on top. The pieces on top are colored wooden pieces that are rectangular with a tip shaped like a knob. The cover pieces are the same shape, but larger, and are wood colored.

Timberdoodle's Review

Kloak

This artful combination of hide-and-seek and tic-tac-toe will have you and your opponent scrambling to remember where each colorful peg is hidden. The first to align two sets of the same color wins!

In Kloak, you have three choices when it comes to moving. Either slide one of the small colorful pegs to an adjacent open space, lift a kloak and place it on an adjoining peg or free area, or slide the kloak and its mystery peg to a nearby space. If you think there are three pegs of the same color in a row, unkloak them and see if you are right. If that sounds daunting, Kloak has a more accessible adaptation and versions for three participants or two teams.

Play this beautiful all-wood strategy game to improve your student’s memory and cause-and-effect thinking. Kloak is recommended for ages 8+ and includes all hardwood components.

Neat game!

This game is quite fun and really makes you think! It is a strategy based game and is fun for adults as well. This came in my 13 year old’s curriculum kit. I think it will be a favorite throughout our school year!

Very challenging

We got it for the kids but my husband wants to play it all the time. It really tests your memory.

Hands on thinking skills

Whenever I can make learning something more than text books I go for it. Learning games, like Kloak, from Timberdoodle is an excellent way to make learning thinking skills more practical and lots of fun.
