Great introduction to robotics

This is a great set that really focuses on details and helps teach why and how things move. Our daughter doesn't always love beginning, but she's always excited and proud of herself when she completes one. One of the proudest moments was when one of the builds wasn't walking correctly, and she was frustrated, and she'd take something apart, put it back on and it wouldn't work... and then the lightbulb clicked, parts started flying, and she'd finally realized what was wrong. After reassembling... IT WORKED! She beamed and was excited for the next one. The parts are small and the build can be tedious, but the end result was worth it. Our daughter loves LEGO and we had high hopes for this set, and it paid off.

great building work

We love doing this work while doing morning time, a read aloud, or listening to history lessons. My kiddos love this building work, the instructions are easy to read for them, and it's easy to put together. The pieces are hard for them to pull apart so sometimes they need help with that.

My kids do this with dad. Building and creating on a whole extra level. Lots of fun to see the finished projects.

Great Concept, just not well executed

We wanted and tried to love this. We got this in the 4th grade curriculum kit for 2021-2022 school year. The concept is great, however, the kit has some flaws. The tool used to take the creations apart to be able to make the next creation broke the first day. I was on web looking for another tool when my husband found something in his toolbox that would work even better than the tool provided. The parts are smaller than I expected and was hard for my 4th graders to manipulate. I'm going to save this and the level 2 kit and try it again next year or maybe even the next.

Great learning tool

My daughter has had a great time with these! It’s been something great for her to look forward to working on at the end of her school day!
