    Great First Sewing

    This was a good first sewing project for my daughter as there was no "right" place to sew - in fact being chaotic with where the needle went up and down made the art look even better. She was able to gain confidence in controlling her string and how to go up, then down, then up, then down, etc. before moving on to harder sewing projects.

    Great for fine motor/ hand- eye coordination

    My only complaint with this kit is that the little stickers to secure the yarn are not quite strong enough but with an additional piece of tape here and there it all worked out fine. Depending on your child's attention span it may take more than one session to complete.

    My 4yo only completed one of these and it was a struuuuuggggle. I ended up doing most of it. It was our first attempt at any type of "stitching" project. I guess it's just safe to say that stitching is not for him.
