Bugs Scratch Boards

Scratch-art is a type of engraving where an artist scratches through dark ink to uncover a colored layer beneath. Now French company Djeco has taken scratch art to a whole new level with these original display-worthy designs. Follow the directions and embellish parts of the creative scratch artboards with simple zentangle-like patterns. In other places, larger areas of the boards are scratched off to reveal hidden surprises.

Djeco Bugs is an excellent introduction to this unique craft and includes cute insects. A perfect way for kindergartners to practice patterns, follow directions, and pay attention to detail, Djeco Bugs includes:

  • Four generously-sized scratch templates.
  • One scratch tool sized for little hands.
  • A full-color pictorial instruction booklet filled with inspiring design ideas.

Djeco Scratch Boards kits will boost your child’s fine motor and visual discernment skills.

”We have enjoyed these scratch boards and I think they are a worthwhile investment for enriching learning skills... I appreciate that it’s an art project that is low-mess and doesn’t require my assistance (just general supervision for young children).”

    Such a cute art project

My kids love these and I had to get extra for my younger kids because they loved them too. Super cute and such a fun idea. My kids love hanging their artwork up after scraping these.

    Love This!!

Our little one enjoyed doing these so much the first time that we bought a second pack so she can do them again. The directions are easy to follow and is great for hand control. We would definitely recommend these to others.

    Regret buying this

It is tedious and not fun for my five year old. None of my other kids want to use it either. Seems more like a chore than a fun project. I also don't care for the look of the final product.

great to take a break and do art

He loves these while we listen to a book or during morning time. It's a change from book work and our kiddo really enjoys it.
