Aquarellum Animal Postcards

Kids love to create, but even the largest homes cannot contain the onslaught of all their creations. Of course, there are tips for managing the creative blitz, from making portfolios of the best to taking photos before disposing of them.

Aquarellum Animal Postcards provides an even better solution. Your child will learn how to mix rich, vibrant colors while they create beautiful and detailed works of art on postcards! With an exclusive water-resistant technique, paint flows off the wax barriers. It adheres only to the design motif areas, making the vivid colors pop. Plus, paint can be applied repeatedly to any area until the hue is perfect.

Once your child is satisfied with the results, address the other side, pop a stamp on it and freely share their masterpiece with grandparents, piano teachers, and elected officials!

Aquarellum Animal Postcards comes with eight postcard pictures; high-quality, washable liquid watercolor paints; a standard pipette, a quality paintbrush; plus a color-mixing guide.

Aquarellum Animal Postcards kindles the imagination, requires concentration, and makes learning to paint easy, relaxing, and rewarding. Aquarellum has received the National Parenting Seal of Approval.

”My child spent her Sunday learning to mix colors, create beautifully detailed works of art, and the gift of giving, as each postcard she painted we addressed and mailed out to family and friends."

”The postcards feature designs pre-preprinted in nonabsorbent ink. This ensures the finished projects will look good, no matter what the age or skill level of the artist.”

    One of our favorites

The advertising of this isn’t what I expected. It’s much smaller vs pictured. But it ended up being one of our favorite items ordered. I don’t feel the colors match or are true to the color sheet it gives to mix. But otherwise we ended up loving this set.

    My 5 year old Loved!

I was going to have my kindergartener do 1 postcard per week for 6 weeks, but he loved it so much he did them every day til he ran out. My older kids (11YO and 13YO) even wanted to do one. It's a very simple water color art, that you can't mess up, and is not too messy. Just use the provided water colors and paint directly onto the postcard and even a 5YO can make a beautiful painting! We then mailed them to Grandmas and Aunts which was a hit as well:) We loved this activity!

    All my kids favorite thing

These paint sets are amazing. My kits love them so much. I have to buy a new set for them every time they finish all the cards because they enjoy it so much. Great for all ages and so fun to ship out as postcards. The only bad thing is that it’s a pain in the butt to set up the paint so I don’t let them do it all the time because it’s so annoying to make all the colors all the time.
